The Process Technology Associate of Science Degree Program provides training in the monitoring and control of processing equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, boilers, and furnaces, along with instruction in troubleshooting and problem solving, safety awareness, and product quality testing. The objective of this Program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as plant operators in industries such as petroleum refining, pulp and paper, food processing, chemical manufacturing, power generation, and wastewater treatment.
